Early Spring in the Meadows

Another picture of The Meadows in Edinburgh, taken on a glorious, early spring day.

Ok, I admit it.  I took this picture more for the crocus than the tree, but since there technically are trees in the photo...

This is what spring looks like in Edinburgh, and it lasts a long time.  Crocus and daffodils bloom and bloom, and then the cherry trees start their show. It's so very beautiful.
