Stumped

This is the only photo I took on our walk past the former insane asylum/university campus. I was suffering from severe jet lag and the walk did me good. We watched a young man play soccer with his border collie.  My camera didn't come out the bag for that. Not for any of the beautiful trees along the way or the amazing view from the top of the hill.

For some reason though, this stump caught my attention and held it. I imagined a ring of fairies dining on its summit.
