Mountain Ash

This young tree makes a nice contrast to the house next door. I haven't been able to capture it well with the camera but when you round the corner onto that street your eye is naturally drawn to the symmetry between the two.

I prefer the close-up of the berries. They were sought in ancient times for their protective qualities.
