Clinging Vine

While visiting an herb farm at Battle Creek, Michigan, I came across this tree with ivy running along the trunk from roots to top. This is one section near the base.

Barn Hugger

Taken last week at Battle Creek, Michigan. I looked across the street from where I was photographing and sign and thought, "Barn Hugger." Yes, I am strange that way.

Arthur's Seat

I can almost smell the leaves decomposing at the base of these trees. Even better, I can hear the crunch, swish as we walked among them. I love Autumn

Giraffe

No really, there's a giraffe in this picture. A green, leafy giraffe.

Shower of gold

The wind blew through just after I took these pictures and laid a carpet of gold leaves on the lawn. I didn't think to photograph that.  I could have named it post-tree

Dappled Path

This photo was also taken on the long walk during my last day in Brisbane. I loved the dappled pattern the shadows of the leaves created on the path.

Pretty little maidens

 

These trees line the drive at the community centre.  All of them are red on one side and green on the other.
