I just love the sun through the leaves.  The air was crisp and and the leaves brittle but all in all, lovely.

Friday, I was lamenting (over at my blog) the lack of snow this Northern Girl was experiencing. I flashed a picture of Michigander Sister's snow-covered back garden. A part of it anyway. It's 10 acres. By the time I finished posting, it was snowing here. 

Yes. I admit it. I called it. 

This is my neighbor's maple tree taken at 5 pm of the same day. The snow continued.
