Entwined

If I remember correctly from the Spring, this is a crabapple.  I could be wrong. Regardless, every time I walk past it, I am struck by the twist of the trunks.

    I've always found tree trunks to be utterly fascinating. The knots, the holes, the texture, the colors. These look like lovers.
